Iʼve spent much of my life going against the grain, challenging conventional ways-sometimes banging my head against the wall-trying to find ways to live a more meaningful, independent and sustainable life. Through much trial and tribulation, I have figured some things out and even dialed some things in, but most of all, Iʼve learned that I have a long, long way to go.
I started this podcast because I wanted to be able to share some of those things that I have learned along the way. More importantly, and the real driver behind this project, is that I wanted the chance to talk to real people, in the real world, doing real things, and be able to share those conversations with my audience.
This podcast is all about the journey towards independence, resiliency and freedom. Itʼs for anyone who longs to break with the status quo and challenge the ways in which they relate to the world around them. We are all unique individuals with vastly different situations to face. We all have different resources, blessings and a variety of different challenges, but one thing is certain for all of us: each and every one of us can do something today to improve our situation.
Weʼll be covering topics of interest to anyone interested in being more free. Anything related to living a good life is on the table, but some topics already in the works include food storage, homeschooling, natural medicine, nutrition, grazing livestock, permaculture, communications, community building, developing the proper mindset and so much more.
If youʼre looking for homesteading and preparedness information and inspiration, you have come to the right place. I invite you to check out the podcast and, while youʼre here on the site, sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date with everything going on here at Plans and Provisions.
Growing up, I never paid much attention to where my food came from. Like most people, It just never occurred to me how large and complex a system was that supplied my daily meals.
As I grew older, I developed a strong desire to understand how things worked, especially when it came to where our food comes from. Iʼve done all sorts of jobs over the years, but Iʼve always been consistently drawn to farms and agriculture.
Those experiences have helped me to realize just how important it is for me to have as much control over my food supply as possible. Folks, weʼve lost control over most of the vital resources in our lives and given them over to the whims of mega corporations and government.
That is why I started Plans and Provisions. Weʼre going to work to strengthen our families and restore our food security. Together, weʼre going to learn from some amazing people and relearn proven ways to live within our means.
Join me and letʼs take back control of our lives.
